Schools offering Home Study programs in the Philippines

Quality education need not be confined inside the four walls of a classroom. In recent years, home study or homeschooling has been a great option for parents and their children. Home study programs are designed to provide an alternative learning system for students who cannot avail formal instruction in a regular school or for families who want to try the non-traditional route. It addresses the student’s individual differences and recognizes special needs and various learning styles.

Most families educate their children by enrolling with homeschool providers that are accredited by the Department of Education (DepEd). In homeschooling, the parent is the primary teacher. The UP Open University is one of the pioneer online and distance learning institutions in the country and was established in 1995. It has 3 undergraduate courses, 13-post baccalaureate diploma programs, 12 masters programs, and 2 doctoral degree courses.
