Electronics and Electrical

An Electrician installs and repairs electrical wiring. He/She often works as a freelancer or works for a construction or electrical unit. He/She may also install or service street lights, intercom systems, or electrical control systems. 

Maintenance engineers are responsible for the continuous running of equipment and machinery. They use computerised systems to oversee routine maintenance and organise repairs. They are also involved in control and monitoring devices and occasionally in the manufacture of items that will help in maintenance. 

An audio engineer (or a sound engineer) is a trained professional who works with the mechanics of recording, mixing, and reproducing sound. Audio engineers are not the same as sound producers, writers, or performers, as they deal specifically with the technical and the mechanical aspects of music and sound; nothing else. 

An Electrical Engineer designs, develops, tests, and supervises the manufacture of electrical equipment, which can include mobile phones, hybrid cars, robots, and medical devices among other things. 

The Electrical Engineering profession deals with the generation, transmission, distribution, and utilization of electricity. It includes design, operation, protection, maintenance, control and economics of electrical systems with emphasis on ethical values to harness economically and safely the materials, and forces of nature for the benefit of society and the environment.
