About the Scholarship

AIGS Excellence Essay Award grants 1,000,000 won (1 Million won). This award is to be granted only to one person currently registered in Th.M., or Th.M+Ph.D., or Ph.D. programs. Candidate essays submitted are to be evaluated by responsible faculty members and finally authorized by the AIGS Committee. The student who gets this award will have an opportunity to present the essay and/or to be strongly recommended for publication in an academic journal.

Eligibility:
  • AIGS students currently registered in Th.M., or Th.M+Ph.D., or Ph.D. programs
  • An essay submitted should be highly qualified as an academic paper in relation to the topic informed by the AIGS Office
  • A student who maintains Christian integrity and spiritual practicum
  • A student who pays the church-matching fund will receive award directly into his/her bank account, if not the money will be transferred to student’s church matching fund
  • AIGS students currently registered in Th.M., or Th.M+Ph.D., or Ph.D. programs.
  • An essay submitted should be highly qualified as an academic paper in relation to the topic informed by the AIGS Office.

  • A student who pays the church-matching fund will receive award directly into his/her bank account, if not the money will be transferred to student’s church matching fund.
