Asian Institute of Maritime Studies (AIMS) is a non-stock educational institute which offers relevant, excellent, accessible learning environment in corporate and maritime education, and training services. Founded in 1993 by Capt. Wilijado P. Abuid and his colleagues, AIMS envisions to be the home of maritime knowledge exchange: the provider, investment, and employer of choice. It is located at Roxas Blvd cor. A. Arnaiz Ave., and A. Arnaiz Ave. cor. F.B. Harrison st., Pasay City.
AIMS offers Bachelor of Science (BS) in Marine Transportation (BSMT), BS in Marine Engineering (BSME), and BS in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering (BSNAME)  in the College of Maritime Education and Training. BSMT is a 4-year course which trains a student to become a competent officer-in-charge or a manager of Navigational watch. BSME is designed to train a student to become a competent officer-in-charge or a manager in Engineering watch. BSNAME is a 5-year course which covers the design, construction, maintenance of ships, boats, and related equipment.
