The School has been producing highly qualified, technically skilled, and globally competitive optometrists who are fully capable of delivering the full spectrum of optometric serivces in primary health care.

To provide effective instruction and training for prospective optometrists, the College has set the following objectives:

1. Imbue the students with a high regard for academic excellence and ideals of professionalism;
2. Promote wholesome values and attitudes in the practice of their profession;

4. Encourage research endeavours to strengthen the optometry profession.
