Children Of Mary Immaculate College (CMIC) was founded in 1978 in response to a need for quality education in the Valenzuela City area. It is a private, non-sectarian educational institution. Its primary goal was to enable its students to reach a high level of academic excellence and to develop their personality and character in an enriched educational environment.

CMIC is fully recognized by the Department of Education (DepEd) and by the Commission on higher Education (CHED). It offers education from pre-school to college and is open to students of any religion or nationality as long as the parents abide to the standards of the school. CMIC is granted the authority to accept foreign students by the Bureau of Immigration Deportation under Memorandum Order AFS No. Aff-04-075.
