Graduate

Requirements

Minimum Requirements

A bachelor’s degree, or masters degree, from a recognized institution is required for admission to a masters program or doctoral program, respectively.

For an applicant to a masters program, he/she must a graduate of 4 year course from CHED recognized college or university with a minimum Grade Point Average (GPA) of 2.5 or better, and for an applicant to a doctoral program, an applicant should have at least a GPA of 1.75 or better in the masters program in a CHED’s recognized college or university.

Evidence of suitable background or its equivalent in the degree sought.

Davao del Norte State College (DNSC) is a public higher educational institution in Panabo City, Davao del Norte. Established as the Davao del Norte School of Fisheries (DANSOF) in 1969, the school was later converted into the Davao del Norte State College in 1995 through Republic Act  No. 7879

DNSC offers undergraduate, graduate, and postgraduate courses in Education, Aquatic and Applied Sciences, Information Technology, Management, and Governance. In addition to providing quality academic programs, the school also actively conducts research, training and community-centered projects in the entire province.

Since its establishment, the Davao del Norte State College continues to receive acknowledgments from various agencies. Most of the school’s programs are actually recognized by the Commission on Higher Education (CHEd) and the Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities of the Philippines (AACCUP). The school itself holds an ISO 9001:2008 Certification as well.
