The B.S. in Computer Science  program provides the students with the technical knowledge and skills necessary for specifying, evaluating and managing  computer systems. The curriculum emphasizes a broad foundation in computer organization , software and mathematics, together with electives that enhance the students’ proficiency in various computer applications. Technical guidance is made available in such application  ranging from data processing to embedded systems, as well as in the analysis and  design methodologies  appropriate for hardware , software and firmware.
A wide range of career opportunities exists for computer scientist, such as computer programming, systems analysis, database/network administration, compute-aided design/engineering, software engineering, computer graphics, internet applications development, computational science and hardware support.
