North Central Mindanao College (NCMC) is a private school in Barangay Maranding, Lanao del Norte. The school started out as a technical vocational school in 1989 and was formerly known as the
Central Mindanao Technical Institute. Several years later, the institute became a college to provide tertiary education opportunities for the underprivileged children of the area.
At present, NCMC provides a complete basic education program, in addition to higher education programs. The Senior High School (SHS) department offers the
STEM, HUMSS, ABM, and
TVL strands. For college students, NCMC has degree programs in the areas of
Criminology, Social Work, Allied Health, Engineering, Information Technology, Teacher Education, Business, and Humanities. The college is also a
TESDA Accredited Institution, with available TVET courses in health care, hotel and restaurant services, industrial arts, and information and communications technology.
