Northeastern Mindanao Colleges (NEMCO) is a private non-sectarian school in
Surigao City. It was established in 1947 with tertiary programs and short courses, including Civil Service Review classes. The institution opened a complete high school department the following year.
NEMCO currently offers programs in Junior High Shcool, Senior High School, and College. The SHS department provides the
HUMSS, GAS, and
HE strands. The college department, on the other hand, has degree courses in
Information Technology, Business Administration, Teacher Education, Criminology, and
the English Language.
Northeastern Mindanao Colleges and its programs are duly recognized by the Commission on Higher Education
(CHED) and the Department of Education
(DepEd). The school is also a member of the Philippine Association of Colleges and Universities
(PACU).
