Notre Dame of Jolo College (NDJC) is a private, Catholic school in
Jolo, Sulu. It was founded in 1954 by Bishop Francis McSorley, OMI to provide
training for teachers who are to be sent in the far-flung areas of the province. The school is currently managed by the
Oblates of Mary Immaculate.
NDJC offers programs in Senior High School and in College. The SHS department offers the
Academic and
Technical-Vocational-Livelihood (TVL) tracks. Under the Academic track are
HUMSS, ABM, GAS, and
STEM. For undergraduate students, available courses are in
Nursing,
Elementary Education, Accountancy, and Business Administration. Interested students may also take up
graduate and post-graduate courses in the areas of Teacher Education, Nursing, and Public Administration.
Notre Dame of Jolo College is a member of the
Notre Dame Educational Association (NDEA). It also has
Level II PAASCU Accreditation for its programs in
Business Administration, Liberal Arts, and
Elementary Education.
