Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Marikina (PLMar) is a public higher education institution with three campuses in Marikina City. It was established in 2003 and is the first city government-funded university in Marikina. The university commits itself to provide affordable and high-quality education, consequently developing well-rounded and service-oriented graduates.

PLMar currently offers undergraduate and graduate degree courses in Business, Accountancy, Criminology, Teacher Education, Hospitality Management, Tourism, Liberal Arts, and Nursing. Aside from these, the university also provides the Academic Track for interested Senior High School (SHS) students at its campus in Barangay San Roque. Additionally, the institution recently partnered with TESDA to open TVET courses in Cooking and Baking and Pastry.
