Requirements

Admission Procedures can be through Slot Reservation and Official Enrollment Steps. Slot Reservation is advised for those students who have decided to study in UPang. It saves time and effort in the enrollment process. 

Slot Reservation runs from October- December. Meanwhile, official enrollment runs from January- June. 

Slot Reservation
  1. Marketing Department
    1. Fill up Student Permanent Record (SPR) and Info Sheet
    2. Verification of Required Documents (if available):
      • Form 138
      • NSO Birth Certificate
      • For Handog Kaibigan (HK) Scholars
        • HK Certificate
        • Certificate of Indigency
    3. If HK Scholarship awardee, validation of award
  2. Registrar and Finance
    1. Encoding of SPR
    2. Submission of Requirements (if available):
      • Form 138
      • NSO Birth Certificate
      • For HK Scholars
        • HK Certificate
        • Certificate of Indigency
    3. If HK Scholarship awardee, internal tagging
    4. Applicant pays for Php 500 minimum downpayment
    5. Issuance of Offical Receipt (OR) of downpayment
    6. Issuance of Reservation/Welcome Letter
  3. Marketing Department
    1. Present Official Receipt and Confirmation Letter
    2. Issuance of other information/instruction re: other enrollment details

  1. Marketing Department

        • Certificate of Indigency
(If the enrollee has Slot Reservation, go straight to Step 3. For transferees, proceed to Step 2.)
  1. Advising (for transferees only)
    1. Go to the Dean's Office for subject crediting
  2. Registrar and Finance
    1. Submission of remaining requirements:
      • Form 138
      • NSO Birth Certificate
      • For Handog Kaibigan (HK) Scholars
        • HK Certificate
        • Certificate of Indigency
    2. Downpayment
      • If enrollee has Slot Reservation:
        • Non-scholars: pay an additional Php 2,000.00 downpayment to get ID and 1 set of uniform
        • For scholars: can pay Php 750.00 for ID or Php 1,500.00 for both ID and 1 set of uniform
      • If enrollee has NO Slot Reservation:
        • Non-scholars: pay Php 2,500.00 downpayment to get ID and 1 set of uniform
        • For HK scholars: can pay Php 750.00 for ID or Php 1,500.00 for both ID and 1 set of uniform
    3. Printing of Official Registration Form (ORF) or Temporary Registration Form (TRF) in case schedule is not yet ready.

University of Pangasinan or UPang was formerly known as the Dagupan Institute and was established in 1925. The school was renamed the Dagupan Junior College in 1941 and in 1945, immediately after the second world war, classes resumed in the institution. It was renamed as Dagupan Colleges in 1950 and finally in 1958, it received university status through the University Charter granted by the Department of Education.
 
UPang has continuously grown and now offers senior high school, undergraduate, and graduate program. The university offers programs on engineering, architecture, health sciences, information technology, management and accountancy, social sciences, and law.

UPang, in 2009,  became a member of the PHINMA Education Network (PEN), an educational institution that aims to provide quality education at an affordable fee. Through PEN, UPang continues to enlighten the minds of Filipinos through quality education made accessible to everyone.
