PNTC Colleges, originally named as Philippine Nautical Training Institute or PNTI was founded in 1994. The institution was established to provide courses pursuant to the 1978 International Maritime Organization (IMO) and the Standards of Training, Certification and Watchkeeping for Seafarers (STCW) convention. WIth the intention of expanding its purpose as a maritime institution, PNTI became Philippine Nautical and Technological College in 2001. Three years later, the name was changed again to PNTC College with the purpose of ushering a new era for the school but still embracing its roots as Philippine Nautical Technological Colleges.

PNTC Colleges offers undergraduate programs in marine engineering, marine transportation, business administration, customs administration, accountancy, and accounting technology. The school also offers the academic track, technical-vocational-livelihood track, and the sports track for senior high school. These programs are taken with the best and most complete maritime facilities and are taught by qualified and competent instructors and teachers.
