Saint Michael College (SMC) is a private Catholic school in
Cantilan, Surigao del Sur. It was founded as a parish school in 1915 by the Missionaries of the Sacred Heart.
and is currently run by the
Sisters of Saint Paul of Chartres. The school started with a preschool program until it grew into adding more levels through the years.
SMC Cantilan provides a complete extended basic education program; its Senior High School (SHS) department offers the
STEM, GAS, and
HUMSS strands. For college students, SMCC has bachelor's degree courses in
Business Administration, English Language, Elementary and Secondary Education, and Computer Science. Additionally, the school also has a
Bookkeeping course available for those interested in earning a National Certificate (NC) for that skill.
