Saint Michael College of Caraga, formerly Saint Michael Institute, is a private Catholic school in Nasipit, Agusan del Norte. It was established in 1948 by the
Missionarii Sacratissimi Cordis (MSC) fathers. The school catered to high school students until the year 2000, when it opened its elementary and college departments. The following year, the institute was renamed to Saint Michael College of Caraga (SMCC). At the same time, the school released its Vision for 2020,
"Magbayanihan Tayo", which aims for producing globally competitive learners.
SMCC has five college units offering undergraduate courses:
Teacher Education; Tourism, Hospitality, Business and Management; Arts and Sciences; Computer Sciences; and,
Criminal Justice Education. The school also provides the complete basic education program, with available programs in the
Academic and
Technical-Vocational-Livelihood (TVL) tracks for interested Senior High School (SHS) students. Additionally, SMCC has a
Technical Department that offers short and technical-vocational courses, namely a Seafarer course and Diploma programs in Hotel and Restaurant Technology and in Information Technology.
