Specific Requirements for Engineering Courses

Requirements

For applicants for the following courses:
  • Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (BSCESEP-T)
  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEESEP-T)
  • Bachelor of Science in Electronics Engineering (BSECESEP-T)
  • Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (BSMESEP-T)
Requirements
  1. For SHS STEM graduates with no grade lower than 80% in Mathematics, Science, English, and GPA
  2. For Non-STEM tracks with at least 85% grade in Mathematics, Science, and English, and will take bridging program embedded in the curriculum

For applicants for the following courses:
  • Bachelor of Science in Information Technology (BSIT-T)
  • Bachelor of Science in Information System (BSIS-T)
  • Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science (BSESSDP-T)
Requirements
  1. For SHS STEM graduates with at least 80% GPA in Mathematics, Science, and English
  2. For Non-STEM tracks with at least 85% GPA in Mathematics, Science, and English and will take bridging program

For Bachelor of Engineering Technology (BET) applicants:

Requirements
  1. Open to all SHS STEM graduates
  2. For Non-STEM tracks, HS Old Curriculum, Transferees of TUP System & Other School: See Gen. Requirements B & C; will take bridging program

For Bachelor of Graphics Technology and Bachelor of Technical Vocational Teacher Education applicants: 

Requirements
  1. Open to all SHS STEM graduates with at least 80% GPA
  2. For Non-STEM tracks and Transferees with at least 85% GPA in Mathematics, Science, and English and will take bridging program

The Technological University of the Philippines - Taguig (TUP-Taguig) is a public educational institution located in Bicutan, Taguig City. It was established as the Manila Technician Institute (MTI), one of the three prototype technician institutes founded by the National Government in 1977. By 1985, it adopted the name Technological University of the Philippines-Taguig (TUP-T) and eventually became one of Techonological University of the Philippines' campuses in the country.

Four-year courses, as well as Ladderized degree programs in Engineering, Industrial Technology, Graphics Technology, Environmental Science, and Technical Vocational Teacher Education are readily available to students who want to pursue their education in the institution. At present, TUP-T is the main provider of technology education in the southeastern part of Metro Manila providing engineers, technicians and skilled workers for various industries in the area and it is also officially recognized by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED).
