University of Utah (U of U) is a research-centered public university located in the vibrant and diverse community of
Salt Lake City, Utah. The university is considered as Utah's powerhouse in terms of
academics, athletics, and of course,
research. With over 120 research centers and bureaus, the University of Utah thrives to continue its legacy as the
top performing research university in terms of commercializing
technology innovations.
The university is composed of
18 schools/colleges with almost a hundred departments that offer various programs ranging from certificates to doctorate degree. Some of the programs that are offered in this university include programs in
Architecture, Education, Engineering, Humanities, Social Science, and its best-performing program
in Pharmacy. The university is also open for students who are planning to take up courses in
Reserve Officers Training Corps (ROTC) with its
Military Science, Aerospace Studies, and Naval Science programs under its College of Social and Behavioral Sciences.
