The Bachelor of Science in Prosthetics and Orthotics program is designed to equip students with the skills and adequate knowledge on prosthetics which refers to artificial devices that replace body parts that are incomplete, absent, amputated from birth, trauma, cancer, infection, diabetes. Meanwhile, Orthotics refers to externally applied devices that provide alignment, correct deformity, prevent contractures and reduce pain in body parts.
