Language Requirements:
  • International English Language Testing System: Score: 6.0 overall with no individual band less than 5.5 OR
  • Test of English as a Foreign Language/Educational Testing Service: Score: 550 (Code 8538) OR
  • Test of English as a Foreign Language/Educational Testing Service (internet based test): Score: 80 overall with no section less than 19 OR
  • Canadian Academic English Language Test: Score: CAEL 60 and Writing 60
Procedures:
1. Choose your program.
2. Submit the following documentation that applies to you:
  • Students provide proof of having the course prerequisite either by submitting an official transcript or,
  • By Valemount College Placement Assessment (see Other Information tab), or
  • By instructor permission.
  • Students who believe they have the knowledge to be successful in a course without formal proof of prerequisites may refer to the Mature Student Status Policy where applicable.
3. Fill in the online application form.
4. Submit other required documents.
5. Pay the application and registration fee.
