Western Sydney University (UWS) is a public university in
Australia. It was founded in 1891 as the Hawkesbury Agricultural College and became UWS through the
University of Western Sydney Act in 1988.
UWS, through its
10 campuses and an online campus, offers
undergraduate, graduate, and postgraduate programs in the fields of humanities, law, engineering, medicine, arts, business, computer science, and science.
